Planning to catch the theatrical debut? Here’s what you can look forward to and how to grab your tickets for Bluey’s Big Play Christchurch!
If you haven’t caught wind of it yet, Bluey is gearing up to make her Christchurch debut! Bluey’s Big Play Christchurch is set to bring the charm of the Emmy® award-winning series to the stage on April 15-16, 2025 at Wolfbrooke Arena. This isn’t just another kids’ show; it’s a theatrical experience that promises to capture the hearts of little ones and their grown-ups alike –– because let’s face it, we adore the show just as much as our kids do!
Presented by BBC Studios, Andrew Kay, and Live Nation in collaboration with Windmill Theatre Co., this production will feature an array of puppets and sets that breathe life into Bluey’s world. With three performances over two days to choose from—10am, 1pm and 4pm—you can easily find a time that suits your family.

Bluey’s Big Play Christchurch:
What to Expect

Running for approximately 50 minutes without an interval, Bluey’s Big Play is designed to keep young imaginations engaged from curtain rise to fall. After the show, the fun doesn’t stop! Audience members will have the chance to join in on “Keepy Uppy,” where inflatable balls and bubbles will create a playful atmosphere. While some may prefer to watch the excitement unfold from their seats, others can dive right in—just be aware that safety is a priority, with designated areas for participation.
Exclusive VIP Package
For those wanting a little extra magic, consider the VIP Package. This includes a meet-and-greet with a Bluey costume character, plus a Bluey VIP Lanyard and sticker sheet to take home. Just a heads-up: Children must be accompanied by at least one adult and each attendee must hold a VIP Experience ticket.
