The Easter school holidays are almost here, and that means two things—extra time with the kids and the challenge of keeping them busy. Luckily, Christchurch has plenty on offer to keep little hands and minds engaged. Whether they love getting creative, exploring the outdoors, or trying something new, there’s an adventure waiting for them. Here’s a roundup of the best Easter school holiday events to make the most of the break.

Circus in the City

Free circus fun in the heart of town? Yes please. Whether you’re 5 or 95, swing by Spark’s Corner on Wednesdays for some seriously cool circus skills. No experience needed—just a good attitude and maybe a bit of coordination. Props provided, laughs guaranteed.

Quail Island Easter Egg Hunt

Quail Island Easter Egg Hunt

The Quail Island Easter Egg Hunt is back for the school holidays! Hunt for hidden letters across the island to reveal a secret word and swap it for Easter eggs. The Christchurch Easter Show
