Yoga Play for Little Ones

What’s On For Kids This Weekend:Yoga play for little ones

A weekly session held during the term for crawlers up to 5-year-olds, Yoga Play for Little Ones invites exploration of their space featuring soft play equipment for children to develop their movement skills. There are optional circle times with creative yoga, games, storytelling, songs, and breathing activities. Casual drop-in sessions are available for $12 per class.

When: Friday, 26 July, 1.30-2.30pm

Asian Arts Festival

What’s On For Kids This Weekend: Asian Arts Festival

The Asian Arts Festival at The Arts Centre is a full day of cultural activities. Enjoy live performances featuring music, dance, and martial arts from different Asian traditions or browse through art exhibitions and visit food stalls offering a range of Asian cuisines. This event highlights various artistic expressions and provides the chance for kids to explore and appreciate diverse cultures.

When: Saturday, 27 July, 10-5pm

Flips and Tumbles Party Room

Bring your toddlers to Flips & Tumbles for a morning of play. For just $2 per person, this online special is tailored for children under 5 to burn off some energy. This is a great chance for little ones to have fun and explore.

When: Saturday, 27 July, 12-2pm
Where: 12 Musgrove Close, Wigram, Christchurch

Family Makerspace

The Family Makerspace invites all ages to join an afternoon of crafting and making! Hosting different activities weekly, this free drop-in session invites everyone to come along, have fun, and create something unique.

Strawberry Fairy Circus Look & Learn

Strawberry Fairy Circus look and learn

Come watch a 10-minute show by the Strawberry Fairy, then try your hand at circus skills like spinning plates, silks, juggling, and hooping. Sessions are held at 10-10.50am, 11-11.50am, and between 12-12:50pm.

When: Sunday, 28 July, 10-12.50pm
Where: 1163 West Coast Road, West Melton, Christchurch

Whānau Storytimes

Whanau Storytimes

Join Whānau Storytimes at Tūranga Library for a mix of stories, songs, and rhymes. Perfect for babies, preschoolers, and kids up to 12 years old, this event is free and open to all families and caregivers. No bookings are needed.
