Sunflower Fields in Christchurch: Christchurch Sunflower Fields

Christchurch Sunflower Field – final weekend


It’s your last chance to wander through the golden sunflower fields before they’re gone for another year. There’s live music, food trucks, and plenty of space for a picnic, so bring a blanket and soak up the summer vibes.

When: Saturday, March 1, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Rossendale Vineyard, 100 Old Tai Tapu Road, Kennedys Bush

Cultural Fun Day


Celebrate the diverse cultures of Linwood with a day of music, dancing, and delicious food. Market stalls will be packed with goodies, so come hungry and ready to explore.

Ōtautahi Youth Mākete


Support young local entrepreneurs as they showcase their handmade creations. Expect everything from jewellery and beauty products to pottery, art, and clothing. Great vibes, great finds, and great kai.

Japan Fiesta 2025


A must for anime fans and Japan enthusiasts. There’s cosplay, live performances, Japanese food stalls, a Hatsune Miku exhibition, a giant outdoor anime movie screening, and even Rubik’s Cube art.

Where: Riccarton Park Racecourse, 22 Showgate Ave, Sockburn

Ferrymead Night Market


Step back in time at Ferrymead’s beloved night market. Stroll through the heritage township, browse craft stalls, hop on a tram or train ride, and enjoy live music and delicious food. Every entry helps support local education initiatives, so you can feel good while indulging in street food.
