Ultimate Teddy Bear Ferris Wheel Extravaganza

Bring along your favourite teddy (under 40cm) for a fun-filled ride on a Ferris wheel made just for them—no humans allowed! Snap photos with Santa’s sleighs and maybe even spot a reindeer while you’re at it. With free entry and bear-sized fun, this event is perfect for spreading some early Christmas cheer. Be sure to check out the handmade wooden decorations and grab a snack while enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Pirates and Fairies Day at the Seaside

The Natural Magic Pirates are setting sail once again, bringing their high-energy show back to the New Brighton Seaside Market. The market itself has plenty to offer, from food stalls and live music to free face painting for the kids. Let them run off some energy at the nearby playground, take a walk along the beach, or just sit back and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Waitākiri Brick by Brick Show

If your kids are obsessed with LEGO®, then this event at Waitākiri Primary is a must-visit. It’s all about community fun, with LEGO® displays, competitions, and a chance for your little ones to show off their building skills. And don’t worry – there’ll be food trucks and a sausage sizzle, as well as soft play by Rug Rats to keep everyone happy. Plus, you’ll be helping raise money for the school’s swimming pool, so it’s a win-win.

World Rivers Day 2024
