Saturday 12 July
Play for PIPS Get ready for a morning of delightful chaos at The Hub, Hornby. This fundraising event combines messy play, face painting, crafts, ball pits, and soft play into one brilliant package. The best part? Entry is by koha, meaning families can contribute what they can afford while supporting PIPS’ incredible 50-year legacy of helping Christchurch families. First 50 kids score free cookies from The Sugar Room By Sam, and there are 100 crafts on offer from The Make Company. Raffle tickets are available for those feeling lucky (order here). Draw will take place at 1pm on Saturday.

World of Wiggles Dance Launch Party Little movers aged 2-5 can wiggle their way into a brand new dance programme at this launch celebration. Two classes are on offer, plus free coffee for the grown-ups courtesy of Mugshotz Coffee Cart. Parents who sign up on the day get the registration fee waived, making it a particularly sweet deal for families wanting to try something new.

Whale Poo Party This has to be one of the most brilliantly named events we’ve seen. Hosted by Sustained Fun, this nature-themed party teaches kids about whale poo (yes, really!) and its importance for climate health. Children can make turtle-friendly decorations, build dream ecosystems from Lego, and participate in a toy swap. The combination of education and entertainment makes this a winner for curious minds aged 3-10.

Time Flies – An Epic Circus Story Award-winning circus performer Paul brings his brand new show to The Arts Centre, promising adventure, adversity, and action suitable for ages 5 and up.
