Clothed in Love Fundraiser

Join the Clothed in Love fundraiser this Saturday and find some great pre-loved clothing and shoes. For just $5, you can fill a bag with items, and there are free books available, too! This event supports a worthwhile cause, providing free clothing packs to children in need throughout the city. It’s a great opportunity to find some new outfits while helping local tamariki.

Quail Island Pirate Hunt

Set sail for Quail Island this weekend for a fun Pirate Hunt! After departing from Lyttelton, families will explore the island searching for hidden pirates using a treasure map. Completing the map earns you chocolate coins, and every finished map enters you into a draw for an Akaroa Nature Cruise. Dress up in pirate attire for extra fun, but make sure to book in advance as spots will fill quickly!
When: Saturday, 28 September and Sunday, 29 September, 10.15am & 12.15pm
Where: Depart from Lyttelton
How Much: $20 per adult and child (ages 5-15); under five sail free.

Rolleston Pre-Loved Market

If you’re in the mood for some shopping, don’t miss the Rolleston Pre-Loved Market on Saturday. You’ll find a variety of items, from toys and clothes to books and home decor. Plus, there will be hot food, coffee, and sweet treats to enjoy while you browse. It’s a great chance to pick up some bargains.

Arion Farm Spring Event

This spring event is packed with activities to keep the whole family engaged. Kids can bounce away on the free bouncy castles and unleash their creativity with face painting. You’ll also find food stalls offering tasty treats, perfect for a casual lunch while enjoying the fresh air. Don’t miss the chance to meet some cute baby animals—petting them is a must! South Brighton Playcentre Car Boot Sale

A bit of treasure-hunting mixed with family fun. South Brighton Playcentre’s car boot sale is back, and it’s all in the name of a good cause: sprucing up their outdoor play area.
