What’s on for kids this weekend in Christchurch:
The Christchurch Show

This year’s Christchurch Show is bigger and better than ever, and with three days of fun, you’ve got not one, but TWO weekday chances to check it out (thank you, long weekend!). The line-up is packed with everything from craft zones and roaming entertainers to lawnmower racing, drone racing and RC racing (seriously, who knew there were so many types of racing?). And don’t worry, there’s plenty of traditional A&P show action too—woodchopping, livestock judging, and, our personal favourite, the rare breed petting zoo. Plus, they’ve swapped the usual dog trials for a good ol’ game of duck herding (yes, actual ducks). The real question is: how do you top the day after this?
When: Thursday, 14 November – Saturday, 16 November 9.30-4.30pm
Where: Canterbury Park A&P Showgrounds
How Much: Adult $20, Child $10 (under 1’s free). Book tickets here.
